Juvederm
What is Juvederm?
Over time, your face changes in many ways from years of smiling and laughing, often causing parenthesis lines. This happens over time as your skin loses some of the building blocks (hyaluronic acid and collagen) that give skin its structure. Juvederm helps to smooth out these parentheses lines and allows for more youthful skin with a natural look.
Juvederm is an injectable filler that is made up of hyaluronic acid, a natural complex sugar that boosts skin’s elasticity, giving your face a smooth appearance. Juvederm is also used for enhancing lip volume and for reshaping cheek contours; it improves skin appearance by lifting and adding volume to the wrinkles and parenthesis lines in the treatment area.

Maybe you have started to see other signs of aging, such as your cheeks beginning to flatten or your skin may have begin to sag. While these changes are all a part of the normal aging process, genetics and environmental factors also play a role often causing changes to occur more quickly and/or more vividly. And while you may notice a change in the appearance of your skin, typically in the form of deepening parentheses lines and wrinkles, you may not notice the less obvious, age-related, volume loss that is often the cause for the more noticeable changes in your face. Juvederm is the answer to restoring volume in the desired areas of the face, making your vibrant smile and expressions the focal point of your face instead of deep vivid facial lines.

Juvederm for my lips
Over time, most women find that their lips have lost volume and will thin; many of these women find that lip injections are the best way to replenish the lush, sensual appeal of full lips. Additionally, many people seek out lip injections because they naturally have thin lips and simply desire more fullness, or maybe they are simply seeking more symmetrical, even lips. Juvederm treatments can offer the desired lip-shape, structure and volume for not only your lips, but other areas of concern on your face.

For your lip injections, your lips and the surrounding area will be numbed; patients often comment that they cannot feel any pain, just the pressure from lips expanding. After the lips are injected, the procedure will “mold” your mouth after each injection to ensure that the Juvederm settled in the right places as decided during consultation. In a matter of minutes, your lip injections will be completed and you will not be able to quit looking at your new, beautiful lips!

After surgery the vast majority of swelling will go down in about 48 hours. You will find that you will feel some slight pressure when it comes to your lips for about 48 hours after your lip injections (such as putting on lipstick or kissing). The pain, however, is often compared to the slight pain of a sunburn or a bruise. After the initial 48 hours, though, you will feel nothing but love for your new, sexy, full lips.

Belotero
What is Belotero?
Belotero Balance is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed to treat superficial lines and moderate to severe wrinkles on the face. It is very natural looking and adds subtle volume and plumpness to skin and tissue with little to no downtime. Since the gel is softer than most other products on the market, it integrates into the facial skin very easily. Patients treated with Belotero have stated that they see immediate results with reduction and softening of wrinkles but the results are more natural and subtle when compared with other hyaluronic acid fillers.

Belotero may be used very close to the surface of the skin and integrates well with natural tissue. There is no bluish hue, called the Tyndall Effect, left under the skin which occasionally happens with other facial fillers, particularly when they are injected underneath the eye area where the skin is thin. Belotero is expected to last a bit longer than typical hyaluronic fillers*. In a clinical study, 66% of participants were still enjoying the effects of Belotero nine months after their treatment*.

Who is a good candidate?
Age, race, or sex is not the best determinant of who will benefit from Belotero. Men and women of all ages who are concerned about the loss of volume in their face and those who wish to treat moderate to severe wrinkles with subtle, natural results will be good candidates for Belotero. As with all plastic surgery procedures and treatments, those who are realistic about what the treatment can and cannot accomplish and have realistic goals tend to be the most satisfied with their treatment.

How long do results last?
There are no hyaluronic acid facial fillers that are permanent. Belotero begins to dissipate over time just as your own natural HA does. This gives you the option of whether to choose to have an additional treatment again in the future for further facial rejuvenation. The results are expected to last anywhere from 6-12 months depending on the areas treated. The effects tend to be longer lasting than with other similar fillers and injections.

Radiesse
How does it work?
Radiesse® is a non-surgical facial contouring filler that delivers an immediate and long-lasting result. Used to restore and reshape obvious signs of facial aging, Radiesse® remains soft and pliable and takes on characteristics of surrounding tissue.

Radiesse® is made of very tiny, smooth, calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a natural gel that is injected into the skin through a simple, safe and minimally invasive procedure. The microspheres (particles) form a scaffold through which your body’s own collagen grows. This unique composition provides immediate visual improvement common with other fillers, along with the benefit of long-lasting results.
For the first three months after injection, Radiesse® initially performs as a filler substance by plumping up the skin. Then due to its collagen-generating properties, Radiesse® actually stimulates new tissue development for extended correction for up to 12 to 24 months. FDA approved.

What sort of results should I expect?
Results vary from patient to patient but you should realistically expect to see a dramatic improvement in the tightening of the skin and decrease in soft lines presenting themselves in the facial area. Through enhancing the already present collagen in the skin Radiesse firms and tightens the area that is. being injected, leaving you with youthful and beautiful skin.

Restylane
How does it work?
Restylane was designed specifically for the lips and the lines around them. Often times as we age we begin to get lines and creases surrounding our lips. This is due partially because of the lips losing fullness over time, as well as what most people would consider "smile lines"

Restylane is a FDA-approved dermal filler made of a biodegradable, non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NASHA). Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in all living organisms and provides volume and fullness to the skin. Restylane is a clear gel formulation of hyaluronic acid — a sugar that is already naturally present in your skin. This filler is very gentle and natural feeling and looking.

What sort of results should I expect?
The lips and skin surrounding the mouth are like other areas of the face. They show signs of aging as an individual gets older. This often results in lip thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip. Restylane is designed specifically to provide natural-looking results in these areas. That’s why it’s made of smaller, smoother particles than those used in other products that are designed as fillers for the face.

In a clinical study of patients treated with Restylane or no treatment, the reports show that:

How does it work?
Sculptra has been deemed "the liquid face lift" it is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid (similar to the Lactic Acid the body secretes when we have muscle spasms). Sculptra Aesthetic stimulates your skin’s natural ability to produce collagen, revitalizing your complexion and restoring youthful fullness for up to 5 years. Sculptra is meant mainly to correct mild to severe wrinkles in the face.

Sculptra is the only filler of its kind. It is unique because it is Injected below the deepest layers of your skin. Sculptra works with your body to stimulate collagen production. As your body works to gradually absorb the Sculptra solution; a new collagen is created to add volume and reinforce the areas of the face that sag, sink, hollow, or flatten with age. Sculptra is a great way for volumizing skin and restoring its elasticity. Sculptra is more of a deferred gratification, the results manifest themselves over time but are long lasting and very effective.

Most of our patients begin to see the results of Sculptra within the first 3-4 weeks after the first session. Wr reccomend a series of 2-3 treatments and Subsequent Sculptra injections occur at 3 to 4 weeks till the desired results and the recommended dose are achieved.

The first thing patients notice is the skin has more smoothed and pores are disappeared. Finer lines disappear and deeper lines become much less prominent. Volume in the cheeks and lift of the eye brows are noticed after few Sculptra injections.
